Created by GOD, marriage is the strongest and the most sacred relationship because it bonds two different persons with different background and views. Two persons not blood related are joined together for better or worse and for life. Marriage is between one man and one woman just like it was ordained by GOD; they both decide to fuse their separated dreams, assets, priorities and future. The sanctity of marriage is now challenged and under attack by infidelity more than ever before. A lot of people are wondering how infidelity can destroy a marriage.
Infidelity is one of the top reasons why marriage is broken. Many people feel betrayed by the unfaithful spouse. The felling of betrayal can grow bitter and bitter every day to the point that divorce is becoming, in their opinion, the best and the last solution. The victim spouse can see the betrayal in so many ways such as: social, spiritual, economical and physical.
The social effect as infidelity can be easily seen in the social reaction of the victim spouse. He or she becomes more reluctant to go out because too many questions will be asked, too many excuses will be made, and too many explanations will be given. He or she will feel the social pressure by friends and family members trying to reconcile them, or judge without knowing all the facts.
The Bible clearly states that marriage is sacred. The 13th chapter and the fourth verse of the book of Hebrews reads” marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers GOD will judge.” Infidelity is a sin that need to be avoided because it will destroy or paralyze the spiritual life of a man or a woman.
